Pınarbaşı in Kayseri province in 1947, chrome mining in Toruntepe, Pulpınar operations in 1985, Adana Aladağ underground and open chromium businesses in 2006 and production of Pozantı and Aladağ enrichment facilities in 2007. Today, annual production capacity of 525 thousand tons of chrome ore has been reached. Our triage, jig and concentrator facilities are enriched with low-grade chrome ore to provide 120,000 tons of high-grade ore and 70,000 tons of concentrate. Chromium waste (shlamm) is evaluated in the "Sham enrichment (MGS)" facilities established in 2007 and it is aimed to produce a special chromium concentrate for the chemical industry of 10,000 tons per year with 75 micron grain size. Our exploration and investment activities in Eskişehir and Adana regions will increase our chrome ore production to 725.000 tons and our annual chromium sales will reach 240.000 tons.
